IRONGAV (a.k.a. Gavin Tyrrell) is a Senior Motion Graphics Designer, Hybrid Creative and professional problem solver with more than 25 years of experience turning ideas into moving pictures. His skill set spans motion graphics, editing, camera operation, VFX, branding, illustration and end-to-end content production, along with short-form digital content and visual storytelling for online platforms, creators and agencies.

Over the past two decades, Gavin has built a reputation for delivering high-quality creative work under pressure, combining broadcast-level technical expertise with a practical, can-do approach and an ability to remain calm when deadlines are doing their best to suggest otherwise.

Following a 23-year stint at Fox Sports Australia and Kayo, Gavin is now available for freelance and contract work across agencies, brands, sports organisations and production companies.

His work is perhaps best known through Fox Sports and Kayo's broadcast graphics, the visual sweetening and animated oddities of Mighty Car Mods, and his long-standing collaboration with bestselling author Matthew Reilly, creating cover artwork, internal illustrations and maps for many of his novels.

Whether it's designing a broadcast package, shooting and editing content, creating motion graphics, or bringing a slightly Gilliam-esque animated sequence to life, Gavin thrives on hard work, creative problem solving, and the satisfaction of delivering work that exceeds expectations.
